Debugging The Uncanny Valley offers a compelling take on Uncanny Valley, though not without flaws. While the treatment of Synthetic Faces is excellent, I found the sections on Robotics less convincing. The author makes some bold claims about Uncanny Valley that aren't always fully supported. That said, the book's strengths in discussing Robotics Psychology more than compensate for any weaknesses. Readers looking for Robotics will find much to appreciate here, even if not every argument lands perfectly. Overall, a valuable addition to the literature on Robotics Psychology, if not the definitive work.

I absolutely loved Debugging The Uncanny Valley! It completely changed my perspective on Uncanny Valley. At first I wasn't sure about Robotics Psychology, but by chapter 3 I was completely hooked. The way the author explains Digital Human Design is so clear and relatable - it's like they're talking directly to you. I've already recommended this to all my friends who are interested in Digital Human Design. What I appreciated most was how the book made Robotics Psychology feel so accessible. I'll definitely be rereading this one - there's so much to take in!

Just finished Debugging The Uncanny Valley - wow! The part about Uncanny Valley really got me thinking.
Has anyone else read Debugging The Uncanny Valley? I'd love to discuss Human Perception!
For me, the real strength was Digital Humans, but I see what you mean about Avatar Design.
Interesting perspective. I saw Digital Humans differently - more as Human-Computer Interaction.
I completely agree! The way the author approaches Digital Humans is brilliant.
I think the author could have developed Perceptual Psychology more, but overall great.
Great point! It reminds me of AI and Emotion from another book I read.
I'd add that Uncanny Valley is also worth considering in this discussion.
